Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 2026
These terms set out the basis on which Bolton Pro Tiling & Bathrooms ("we", "us", "our") supplies tiling, plumbing, bathroom installation and renovation services to customers ("you"). By accepting a quote or booking work with us, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
Bolton Pro Tiling & Bathrooms is a sole-trader business operated by Aaron Isherwood, based in Bolton, United Kingdom. You can reach us on 07778 510582 or Aaronisherwood90@hotmail.co.uk.
2. Quotes
- Quotes are free and based on the information you provide at the time of enquiry.
- Unless stated otherwise, quotes are valid for 30 days.
- The quote covers labour and any materials specifically listed. Additional work or materials requested during the job may incur extra charges, which we will agree with you in advance.
- Quotes are based on the assumption that the working area is accessible, structurally sound and free from hidden issues (e.g. rotten timbers, asbestos, hidden leaks). Any unforeseen issues discovered during the work will be discussed with you before extra costs are incurred.
3. Booking and deposits
- Work is booked in once you confirm acceptance of the quote and an agreed start date.
- For larger projects we may request a deposit to secure your slot and cover initial materials. The deposit amount will be clearly stated in your quote.
- Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel within 7 days of the agreed start date, except where required by law.
4. Your right to cancel (consumer contracts)
If you are a consumer and booked our services off-premises (e.g. at your home), you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start work within that 14-day period and later cancel, you may be charged for work already carried out and materials already ordered.
5. Carrying out the work
- We will carry out all work with reasonable care and skill, in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- You agree to provide safe access, electricity and water at the property during working hours.
- We will tidy the work area at the end of each day and on completion.
- Timescales are estimates given in good faith and may be affected by delays in materials, weather or issues outside our reasonable control.
6. Materials and ownership
Materials supplied by us remain our property until paid for in full. Materials supplied by you are at your own risk, and we cannot be held responsible for defects in customer-supplied items.
7. Payment
- Payment terms will be set out in your quote — typically the balance is due on completion.
- We accept bank transfer or cash. We do not currently accept card payments.
- We reserve the right to charge statutory interest on late payments under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where it applies.
8. Warranty
Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion against defects caused by faulty installation. This does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, normal wear and tear, third-party work or movement of the building. Manufacturer warranties apply separately to fittings and materials.
9. Complaints
If something isn't right, please tell us as soon as possible by phone or email so we have a chance to put it right. We aim to respond to all complaints within 7 working days.
10. Liability
We are fully insured. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our liability for any loss or damage arising from the work is limited to the value of the contract.
11. Photos of completed work
We may take photos of finished work for use on our website and social media. We will never include your name, address or any identifying details, and you can ask us not to take or share photos at any time.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
